The extraordinary in the midst of ordinary

There are times when, immersed in the ordinary details of life, I may be oblivious to the extraordinary that is right next to me. When at times, I may be in the middle of your harried day, and notice something unusual. My  reaction might be “I’m too tired to go aside to investigate this!” or “I’m not going to disrupt my life for this.” Yet, in that moment I may have the opportunity for a unique encounter with God.

So, here I have you three plays, where these biblical characters saw the extraordinary in the midst of ordinary. So let's see about them.

I PLAY:
Moses was going through the routine of his day when he noticed an ordinary thing – a burning bush. He also noticed something extraordinary. Although the bush was burning, it was not consumed. (Exodus 3:1-4) . When Moses turned aside to look more closely, god spoke to him. Everything god had been doing for forty years in life of Moses was culminating at this moment and from then on God’s great redemptive plan started working in his life.

II PLAY:

It was an ordinary day for Gideon. He was threshing wheat in a winepress in Oprah. But something extraordinary happened then. The angel of the lord came there, sat down next to him and said to Gideon,” the lord is with you, mighty warrior.” (judges 6:11, 12) this moment changed the life of Gideon. He, who was the least in his family, became a man of mighty valour and defeated the great army of the Midianites.

III PLAY:
It was an ordinary day for Mary, a virgin, pledged to be married to Joseph. But it turned out to be an extraordinary day – on that day she had a direct encounter with the angel of the lord. She who was insignificant in Nazareth, became the mother of the saviour of the whole world! (Luke 1:26-28)

God usually speaks out of the ordinary experiences of life. Often it is not while you worship at church. Many of god’s most profound and history changing you see the unusual in the midst of mundane, do not continue business s usual .It may be that God has ordained the moment to be a life changing time for you and those around you. So go ahead and be used by God.
So let’s pray to our God to make an extra to our ordinary life..
Prayer:
Dear Lord, as I go with my routine life, when I encounter something special, supernatural, let me not carelessly overlook it but let me ponder whether you have allowed it for accomplishing a greater purpose in my life..

Always remember we have an extraordinary God who make an extraordinary thing in you

STARFISH - Best of Lord's Creation

Starfish - also known as sea stars - are cool creatures that live in underwater sea world. They not only come in mesmerising colours but also have interesting bodies. I was very much  interested in drawing these fabulous animals in my childhood, I'll be drawing my masterpiece on my biology notebooks for everyone to admire.
So now let’s enter this underwater Sea World to know interesting facts about this fascinating beings on earth and what it tells about God from it’s life.

Marine scientists have undertaken the difficult task of replacing the beloved starfish’s common name with sea star because, well, the starfish is not a fish. It’s an echinoderm, closely related to sea urchins and sand dollars. There are some 2,000 species of sea star living in all the world’s oceans, from tropical habitats to the cold seafloor. The five-arm varieties are the most common, hence their name, but species with 10, 20, and even 40 arms exist.
They have bony, calcified skin, which protects them from most predators, and many wear striking colours that camouflage them or scare off potential attackers. Purely marine animals, there are no freshwater sea stars, and only a few live in brackish water.
Beyond their distinctive shape, sea stars are famous for their ability to regenerate limbs, and in some cases, entire bodies. Yeah, it's called as regeneration .They accomplish this by housing most or all of their vital organs in their arms. Some require the central body to be intact to regenerate, but a few species can grow an entirely new sea star just from a portion of a severed limb.

How amazing is our Lord’s creation! Our heart  is stained with a lot of sin and is broken into pieces.Just like the starfish
Even though your life is broken into pieces due to the secret sins and secret relationships, when you turn towards God (Our Creater), he gives us a new life like the star fish.Yes , we can regenerate just like the starfish not in flesh but in spirit.
The Bible says in 2 Corinthians  5:17   Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold, the new has come!

You are right!!!   our Lord is waiting to give us a new life. All you have to do is just let God touch you.
Did you  know, that the Lord who brought back Lazarus alive from death is with you. The Lord who healed the paralysed man and gave a new meaning to his life, the same Lord is living today. Do not forget this dear  children...

JOSEPH'S Profile :

Joseph was the son of Jacob and his favoured wife Rachel. Jacob therefore showed favouritism toward Joseph, which made his brothers despise him. Out of jealously, they sold him into slavery. Joseph was taken to Egypt, where he was purchased by a royal official. Joseph was imprisoned on false charges but was released after interpreting the dreams of Pharaoh  .Because the dreams had predicted seven years of famine ,pharaoh put Joseph in charge of preparing for the famine .During the famine Joseph’s family unknowingly came to him for help , and Joseph forgave his brothers and rescued his family. Through Joseph ,God used evil to work out his good purposes, foreshadowing the time when he would bring the supreme good of  eternal salvation out of the wicked actions of those who crucified Jesus

Genesis 50:19-20

19 But Joseph said to them, “Don’t be afraid. Am I in the place of God?20 You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.
